Digital Choice Boards are great for student involvement in the classroom. They allow you to work with small groups while other students have engaging tasks to complete. This resource was created in Google Slides and you will need a Google account to access the file. When you download this product there are 2 links in the pdf document. Once clicked on, you will be asked to “Make a Copy” of the file and it will be added to your Google Drive. You can then rename the file and personalize the editable components. The text is editable as well as the icons used to cover the completed squares. My Bitmoji has been added to show how you can add your own or it can be deleted. The choice boards are in bright vibrant color and are best used digitally but could be printed or displayed on a smart board. All boards are 9 grid layouts with editable text boxes in each box. These templates can be customized to use in math, reading, writing blocks, or any subject! I included directions on how to add the Flaticon Add-on in Google Slides and how to download more fonts into Google Slides for greater creativity. For extra personalization, you can add your Bitmoji. They are two layouts, portrait and landscape in U.S. 8.5 x 11 sizes. Each size has five different unique designs.
There is a blog post and VIDEO that shows how to edit the templates and how I use them in my classroom. These choice boards can be used with Seesaw, or Google Classroom.
