PHONICS FOCUS: WORDS WITH ER, HOMOPHONES, SUFFIXES –LY, -FUL, PREFIXES RE-, UN-, WORDS WITH AW, AL, O
This resource includes the spelling words/phonics focus for Unit 5, Lessons 21 – 25 of Journeys. They are aligned with the Journeys Reading Program but could be used with any Reading Curriculum.
There are 6 sentence scrambles for each of the 5 lessons. For easy prep, I print on colored card stock (I haven’t laminated these but you could for easy cleaning). Once printed, I cut them out and use a binder clip to keep them together.
There is matching clip art on each sentence for easy student/teacher organization. I keep these with our weekly materials and change them out each week as a fun activity.
The file includes 30 sentence scramble pages, student recording sheets, and teacher answer keys.
My students love using these!
